Our Doctor Dr. Darren Sass, InSight's clinic director Dr.Sass's special interest in children's eye care and learning-related vision problems has been consistent throughout his career. After studying science at the University of British Columbia, he received his doctorate degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis,TN. He is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF), the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) and the BC Association of Optometrists (BCAO). When not at the clinic he enjoys canoeing and squash. |

Our Pediatric Occupational Therapist Crystal Mayfield With her Occupational Therapy and Physical Education degrees from the University of British Columbia, Crystal has a wealth of experience in case coordination, assessment and treatment for those with traumatic brain injury or soft tissue injuries. She's a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of BC. Crystal provides pediatric assessments and therapy for children with delayed fine and gross motor skills, coordination and balance issues, mild sensory deficits, learning and behaviour challenges. She is a sports enthusiast and married mother of two. |

Our Vision Therapists
Mina Lee Mina Lee has enjoyed working as a Vision Therapist both in Seattle and at InSight. Currently a Kinesiology major at the University of the Fraser Valley, she plans to obtain a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Pediatrics and sensory integration are her special interests. She resides in Mission with her husband, and is an avid gardener. |

Brittney Brittney will soon be graduating in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley and will then pursue her master's in Occupational Therapy. In addition to vision therapy, she teaches first aid, advanced swimming courses, and has worked in special education. She enjoys Dragon Boating and spending quality time with her dog, Kona. |

Our Optometric Assistant Moira Moira is the friendly smile you see at InSight's reception desk. It carries through while she is pre-testing for examinations. She and her husband volunteer their time with a number of community organizations. Moira teaches ballet from kindergarten to the professional level, drawing on her experience as a professional ballerina in England and Australia. |
